2 ON WHEELS

We are Stergios and Maria, high school sweethearts who live our life around the world. We married, raised our two children while we were living and working at three different continents, and now, again only the two of us, we travel around the world seeking hidden gems, focus on the culture and the way of living in each new place, try local cuisine, capture the beauty of nature and tell in our stories what is amazed us.

We travel by our motorcycle, a Vstrom 650 Suzuki, by airplane or by our car, a Hyundai Kona.

Our goal is to share our experiences with the other individual travelers, inspire and help them planning easier their trip to the next destination. Meanwhile, we hope to continue exploring the world with more passion, more accessible ways and with a lot of fun.

 

STERGIOS

Stergios was a military pilot at Hellenic Air Force and worked as a pilot and as a high-rank officer for 30 years and during this period he worked at different places around Greece and around the world as a NATO officer. He is driving a motorcycle for 32 years, so he is an experienced driver. He likes flying and now he is a paragliding athlete and this is his new way to fly above the earth. He likes travelings because he enjoys long road trips, he likes to taste local specialties and he is passionate with his Nikon camera and shooting monuments and amazing natural landscapes.

MARIA

Maria is a science teacher, she has studied physics and she works with middle and high school students. She is an amateur painter, she likes all kind of arts, she enjoys to read a good book next to the fireplace at winter,  she tries to learn foreign languages and her passion is to find music for new lists to listening to during the journeys. She likes traveling because she wants to know about different cultures, she is curious about how the other people live around the world, she likes visiting museums and galleries, she likes local architecture and she enjoys to taste new cuisines. She is a fanatic collector of magnets of all the trips.
